Solution for rotating conductive slip rings in stage systems

In order to achieve 360-degree surround sound effects in large halls or theaters, it is generally necessary to equip multiple speakers. Compared with ordinary equipment, the power of the sound system will be greater. When the power supply of this sound system is connected to a 360-degree rotary device, a conductive slip ring with strong current transfer capacity is required to meet the power output requirements.

 As a professional slip ring manufacturer with nearly 30 years of industry experience, JINPAT has extensive experience in providing rotary conductive solutions for stage systems. In response to the power transfer requirements of the sound system, JINPAT chose the standard LPR-2H slip ring as the solution. JINPAT LPR series slip rings are designed to replace mercury slip rings and can also transfer large currents with a maximum operating voltage of 380V AC. For example, the JINPAT LPR-2H has an operating voltage of 240V AC and has two channels, each of which can transmit 25A current, fully meeting the power transmission requirements of audio systems in halls, theaters and other occasions.

However, some stages require the effect of rotation, and in order to provide power to many high-power devices on the stage, slip rings with stronger power transmission capabilities are needed, so that slip rings require signal transmission function. JINPAT has designed and developed a series of conductive slip rings for rotating stages, including hollow shaft series and high-current series. Among them, the representative models of the hollow shaft series are LPT025-2410 LPT000-1916-0402-E3-HD01, the representative product of the high-current series is LPA000-04120. Among the above three products, LPT025-2410 is a standard hollow shaft slip ring. This series of products is available in 5A, 10A and 15A, with different slot sizes, and can be selected from 6, 12, 18 and 24 channels. This slip ring is a standard product with hole diameter of 25.4mm, 24 current paths, and current flow density of 10A. It can transmit a total power of 52.8kW.

Another product of the hollow column series LPT000-1916-0402-E3-HD01 is a customized product that integrates different sizes of power rings, Gigabit Ethernet channels and HDMI high-definition video channels. So this slip ring can not only meet the power transmission requirements of the rotating stage, but also transmit multiple signals, which can meet the needs of different video information output on the stage.

The latest slip ring LPA000-04120 is a typical high-current slip ring, with an operating voltage of 380VAC and a power transmission capacity of 182.4kW. In addition to the high power transmission capacity, the biggest advantage of this slip ring is the high protection level of up to IP66. Under this protection level, it can enable the rotary stage to work and operate normally in outdoor rainy and foggy weather conditions.
